Release Notes March 15th

Sort, Control, Automate

We're back with another round of updates across Discovery, Dashboards, and Playbooks. This release focuses on giving you more control over what shows up in your view and what your team can act on.

Discovery Statuses

We've added status classification to Discovery screen findings, so teams can prioritize valid findings and suppress irrelevant ones. Similar to the Vector screen workflow, you can now manually change the status of findings to focus your view. Unlike Vector statuses, Discovery statuses are fully manual and don't transition automatically. Archiving a finding removes it from the default view, so you can hide irrelevant domains or assets without deleting the record. Statuses can also be updated through the new API endpoint.

  • "Related Domains" and "Discovered Assets" can now be marked as Verified or Archived.
  • The Discovery screen now supports Saved Filters.
  • To stay consistent with the Vectors screen, the default filter is set to Verified, so confirmed assets show up first.

Dashboard: More Widgets with Details View

We've extended the Details View drill-down to six more widgets, so you can jump straight from the high-level number to the underlying data:

  • Vector Tags by Priority
  • Remediated Assets counter
  • Remediated Vs. Vulnerable
  • Top 5 Recurring Technologies
  • Top 5 Outdated Technologies
  • Top 5 Related Domains by number of discovered assets

Target Controls for Operators

Operators and above can now manage scanner behavior directly from the target creation and edit modals, without escalating to a Manager.

  • Scanner selection. Choose which scanners run against a given target.
  • Automatic process toggles. Turn off vector auto-archiving, auto-scan on asset creation, and auto-scan when monitoring is enabled.

New Playbook Action: Jira Automation

Playbooks can now route findings directly into Jira as part of an automated response. The integration uses Jira's automation rules, which need to be configured on the Atlassian side before the action can be used in a playbook.

Additional Updates

  • Removed the 100 asset and vector limits on JSON reports.
  • Added Appendix Endpoints, exposing all the links and paths the scanner was able to enumerate on an asset.
  • A new tooltip confirms when a seed domain scan is in progress, so you know it hasn't stalled.
  • The vector groups card no longer shows a stacked appearance when the group has only one item.
  • Hovering over scroll bars now widens them, making them easier to grab.
  • Extended the auto-archive window for ports on assets from 1 day to 3 days, matching vectors and appendix findings.
  • SMTP Misconfiguration has been reclassified from a Vector to an Enrichment.

Squashed Bugs

  • Fixed an issue where timeline events with comments were not expanded by default.
  • Fixed "Related Domains" search in Discovery.
